Deputy Administrator Veterans Home

The Deputy Administrator of the Veterans Home at Batavia, under the general direction of the Administrator of the Veterans Home, will be responsible for assisting in the management and administration of the facility's operations. The incumbent would assist in ensuring comprehensive medical care is provided to all residents of the facility. Duties include, but are not limited to:
assisting with policy formulation and program development; providing leadership and direction in coordinating resident care services; monitoring and assuring compliance with all legislative, regulatory and Department of Health requirements; training and development of staff; assisting in the development of the annual expenditure plans; supervising several department heads, and coordinating the functions and activities of their units; providing oversight of the facility and its operations in the Administrator's absence; and other duties as assigned.
Job Function

Salary Range:
From $105500 to $133319 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Possession of a New York State nursing home administrator license, and six years of professional health care experience, three of which must have been in an administrative position at a skilled nursing facility. Qualifying administrative positions include administrators-of-record, assistant administrators or equivalent, department or deputy department director at a skilled nursing facility, or an administrator-in-training (AIT). Preferred
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in program and policy development, excellent knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements at a skilled nursing facility, and strong leadership and communication skills. Administrative experience as Administrator of record or equivalent in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
