Prepare purchase orders and place orders with vendors, handle questions and problems with vendors, prepare vouchers for payment and record purchasing transactions in a computerized database. Perform complicated numerical tasks using accepted account keeping, auditing, statistical, or other procedures in which mathematical calculations are fundamental. Other duties as assigned.

From $39302 to $49670 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Reachable for appointment from appropriate Civil Service eligible list or eligible for transfer under section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. PROVISIONAL
Qualifications:
On or before the date of the examination, the candidate must be a qualified employee of New York State and have had three months of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as an office assistant, clerical, or keyboarding title allocated to Grade 5 or higher. Qualifying titles are available at:

Candidate with experience with Procurement and Accounts Payable processes.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
