Working with a team, DSPs assist with daily living skills, personalized goals, arts and crafts, games, sensory activities, and accompany on outings in the community.

AVAILABLE DSP RESIDENTIAL POSITIONS:
Overnights Evenings Flexible Scheduling Offered for Per Diem employees Overnight, Weekend, and Evening Shift Differentials WHAT WOULD I BE DOING? Provides daily care to the people we support with developmental, intellectual and/or physical disabilities.
Assists and encourages the people we support to care for immediate personal needs.
Assists with planning daily activities and participates in the activities in small groups.
Documents all program data accurately and timely.
Provide transportation as needed with agency vehicles.
Use various software platforms for specific job functions.
All full time DSP's in the residential program will be required to obtain and maintain medication certification.
Meal preparation.
Working in a team environment.
Has a drive to help others with their personal goals QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DSP:
High School Diploma, or equivalent required.
Valid NYS driver's license with a safe driving record Excellent communication skills.
Has a willingness to learn new skills (we provide paid training).
Possesses computer skills.
