Summary:
The QA Raw Material / HOLDs Coordinator will handle all aspect of raw materials incoming to the Batavia facility including packaging materials, raw materials used for batch making, and vitamins.
This Coordinator will also track and report out on all HOLDs associated with product produced at this facility and coordinate with Packaging Supervisors to assure completion.
Essential Job Duties will Include:
Main point of contact for suppliers and supplier related issues in the facility Site coordinator of defective packaging material database Working with Packaging team to determine the root cause of supplier packaging problems Pursuance of timely compliance with packaging suppliers to ensure response of SCAR's Reporting out on supplier quality metrics Sampling of incoming materials/ingredients to assure compliance with company standards Verification of product labelling against standards and sample retention.
Monitoring of system to assure label accuracy and conversions as needed.
Review of incoming material COA, COC docs to company standards Support QA Management with product HOLD sampling and reporting to site management Education and
Experience:
BS/BA in related science 2-5 years of manufacturing experience required Experience in a food manufacturing preferred.
Knowledge of food microbiology, chemistry, dairy standards and CIP sanitation.
Strong Computer Skills (i.
e.
Word, Excel, etc.
) Ability to work well with people.
Communication skills are a must.
Multi-tasked Individual.
Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility including but not limited to office, production, and warehouse environments.
Including the outside perimeter of the building.
Able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions.
Stand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with meal break.
Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and move objects exceeding 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations.
Visual acuity corrected to perform job functions.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
